ready for adoption

New to the listing!!

This 14 year old 35" geldings name is Buddy and he lives up to his name.
This boy will need some special TLC for at least another year to bring him back completely. You see Buddy came to us foundered on all four. The front just slightly  and the back will improve as well. He is also VERY over weight. We received Buddy in April and with the help from our vet Buddy is loosing weigh at about 4 to 6 pounds a week. His special needs are a strict diet, a very soft stall and impression material on all four feet. Buddy is very sweet and will do anything for a kiss. He also used to be a great little driving horse and we feel he will be again soon.

UPDATE ON BUDDY ~ We are so excited that Buddy has a clean bill of health and has lost weight and is now sound on all four feet !! What a come back !! This great little guy is ready to go to his new home.

Cracker Jack has a new home

HE'S BEEN ADOPTED!!!

Cracker Jack is a 18 year old pinto that is approx 29" tall. He came to us as a stallion and weighing in about 97 lbs. After having him gelded and placed on a weight gain diet he now is a new horse. He is handled by my 11 year old daily. He now will stand to be bathed and clipped. He truly has come a long way baby. Cracker Jack will make a fun companion for anyone.

Cracker Jack after 7 months of being with us.

April is a 10 year old mare. This sweet black and white mare is about 34" tall. She came to us from the same farm as Cracker Jack. Cracker Jack is her sire. She is not a mare for breeding as she has a severe under bite. She is able to eat soaked pellets and hay with no problem but we feel this trait is passed on in the family tree. We have seen two other minis who are related to her and they have the same mouth issues but not as severe.  This mare also has some feet issues as well. She tends to get laminitis and needs to be treated with a padded stall, a strict diet and an inflammatory medications on occasions.

     YA HOO !! SHE HAS A NEW HOME TOO !!

We currently have others that are available and will be loaded into the site soon. And sadly we always are receiving more too. Some will never be able to be adopted out as their health or behavioral issues are to much of a  problem. If you would like to sponsor one of these animals just let us know and we will be happy to get back with you with further information.
